Oxford is a cotton fabric woven in a basket weave: two weft threads pass alternately over and under two warp threads. This weaving method creates a slightly textured surface, soft to the touch, that holds its shape beautifully and ages with character. Unlike the smooth, formal poplin, Oxford displays a visible grain that gives it warmth and personality.
We work exclusively with 100% natural cotton Oxford fabrics, Egyptian or Supima depending on the quality, to ensure all-day wearing comfort, good breathability and durability that withstands repeated washing without losing its shape.
