Our houndstooth jacket is no exception. The fabric — woven just a few miles north of Manchester — weighs in at 600 grams, the kind of weight usually reserved for overcoats. Needless to say, there is no cutting corners across the Channel, especially in a mill that proudly carries the prestigious distinction: “By Appointment to His Majesty the King – Manufacturer of Tweed.”

Robustness, however, does not exclude delicacy or refinement. Its brown houndstooth pattern over a yellow and beige background is surprisingly luminous, while the leather buttons add a touch of distinction to this sport jacket. It pairs equally well with flannel trousers, corduroy, or denim.
