There is a kind of reflex when the warmer days arrive. You start looking for a jacket, and almost inevitably end up reaching for a navy blazer. Because it’s simple. Because it works. Because it’s hard to think of anything else.

And yet.

There is another option. The light beige jacket.

This summer, ours is cut from an Irish linen Prince of Wales check. A living fabric, breathable, slightly creased, and all the more beautiful the more it is worn. A linen with body, grain and real presence. Texture. Depth.

A jacket that could be very elegant, almost classic, worn with light-coloured trousers. But it becomes something else entirely when paired with denim.

A raw denim shirt, slightly washed jeans, a pair of loafers.
More relaxed. More cool, one might say.
