Made in Italy — Single-Breasted 2-Button Navy Fresco Wool Suit. Traditional construction with soft shoulders and AMF stitching, straight-flap side pockets, double rear vents, and a fully lined interior. Trousers with belt loops, one outward pleat, plain hem without turn-ups.

The navy fresco is one of our most appreciated suits — and that is hardly surprising. Developed in England at the beginning of the 20th century, it is distinguished by its very open weave and its highly twisted yarns. This particular construction gives the cloth remarkable performance: it remains breathable, resists creasing, and retains its structure throughout the day.

Ours is the original Fresco, woven in England in Huddersfield by Hardy Minnis, one of the last great cloth houses still operating in Yorkshire. Renowned for the quality and longevity of its fabrics, the mill holds a Royal Warrant from the British Crown. In navy, it becomes a true wardrobe essential: formal enough for important occasions, yet understated enough to be worn regularly.

It is made in our Italian workshop, located north of Rome, known for the excellence of its craftsmanship and the quality of its bespoke tailoring. The jacket is fully canvassed, constructed with natural materials and assembled with great care. This method provides flexibility, a natural drape, and genuine everyday comfort. The fresco thus retains all its qualities: thanks to the natural canvas construction, the fabric remains breathable and the suit keeps its shape while staying supple.

In its classic two-button version, with balanced proportions and a clean line, it is a suit that works in many situations. As summer approaches, it is particularly well suited for attending a wedding: elegant, breathable, and resilient enough to carry you comfortably through the ceremony, from dinner to the dance floor.
