Article - Décideurs

L’uomo elegante se réinvente

Whether worn in combination with a suit, a wedding outfit, or a simple pair of shorts – a man’s shirt must be beyond reproach. Taking up the challenge has paid off for Swann, which offers made-to-measure men’s shirts, which is now offering ultra-light and ultra-comfortable poplin fabrics from the famous clothier, Albini alongside Seersucker and Chambray fabrics for mild summer evenings. Two new collar shapes have also made an appearance: the Positano, an open spread collar that can be worn open-necked, and the Hampton, a short, button-down collar that is inspired by college-style shirts.

Article Décideurs - Styles and shirts

All that remains is to take your measurements, select the fabric, the shape of the collar and cuffs, the fit of the shirt, the pockets, buttons, stitching and linings – all of which you can do from stores in Paris or Brussels or from your own computer – then wait two to three weeks for the shirt to be made (in France, naturally) before it takes its place in your perfect wardrobe. From €89, though you can expect to pay €139 for Seersucker and Chambray fabrics. Gift set at €109 for single-threaded shirts and €139 for two-ply fabrics.
