Chalk Stripe Fresco Suit

Two-button single-breasted suit in chalk-stripe Fresco. Tailored in a traditional construction with structured, padded shoulders, straight flap pockets and twin rear vents. The jacket is half-lined for comfort in warmer weather. Trousers are finished with side adjusters, a single inward pleat and plain hems.

A plain suit is a safe bet. Perhaps a little too safe. A discreet chalk stripe is enough to change the whole attitude, without taking away from the ease of a navy suit. Drawn subtly into a Fresco cloth, the stripe has just enough presence to give the suit character, without ever becoming too much.

A white shirt and a club tie — it would be hard to be more classic. And yet, the whole ensemble immediately feels a little sharper. That is the beauty of the stripe: it adds polish without adding complication.

Worn without a tie, with a denim shirt, or later in the season with a roll-neck, the suit takes on a much more relaxed character.

A true classic, certainly. With just the right amount of character.
